Dannique Aalbu - Project ManagerDannique Aalbu is a Master’s Candidate at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management focusing on Water Resource Management and Conservation Planning. She graduated from UC Merced in 2010 with a B.S. in Earth Systems Science. She spent the next 5 years working in the Sierra Nevada, conducting field hydrology research for the National Park Service and monitoring species populations for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors and working to protect open space.

Devin Rothman - Data ManagerDevin Rothman is a Master’s Candidate at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management specializing in conservation planning. Devin grew up in Michigan and got his B.A. in Environmental Science from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana in 2014. After graduating, Devin spent a year doing energy efficiency work for an Americorps program in Montana before coming to Bren. When not working, Devin enjoys reading, making music, and wandering through the mountains looking at plants and insects.

Amber Reedy - Finance ManagerAmber Reedy is a first year Master’s Candidate of Environmental Science and Management for the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management with a focus in conservation planning. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2015 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Cultural Anthropology, and started at Bren shortly after. After she graduates, she hopes to put her degree towards teaching environmental education for youths in Ventura County. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about different cultures and the impacts they have had on the landscape, cooking, and being outside in the sun.

Erik Martinez - Communications Manager
Erik is originally from Texas, but moved to the Santa Barbara at the end of 2013. He’s previously worked in the wine industry and the Forest Service, and now works with the Santa Ynez Chumash Environmental Office. Erik graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Science at the University of Texas-Pan American, and is now a graduate student at University of California, Santa Barbara at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management. He is specializing in conservation planning with a focus in strategic environmental communication and outreach. In his spare time, Erik enjoys the outdoors by hiking, biking, playing volleyball or slacklining.
